2023 SUP Amendment Regulations – Consultation summary report

The draft Single-use and Other Plastic Products (Waste Avoidance) (Prohibited Plastic Products) Amendment Regulations 2023 (the draft regulations) were released on 1 February 2023 for public feedback through the South Australian government’s YourSAy website. 

Key stakeholders and the general public were asked to provide feedback on the draft regulations, including the proposed exemptions and any potential unintended consequences. This document summarises the responses to the survey questions and specific concerns raised in the submissions provided to Green Industries SA, as well as the government’s response.
